Col. Vinod Marwaha is an Alumnus of the National Defence Academy and is a War Veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
A multi-faceted entrepreneur, he has set up two Chemical Plants at Lonand, Dist. Satara Arista Chemicals LLP and Magnesia Chemicals LLP.
Col. Vinod Marwah is the Director at Taarruf Foundation. Taarruf is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the richness and diversity of Indian culture through the medium of language & poetry. He is mentoring the leadership group to expand the foundation across India.
He is part a of Horizon OPCEM (Organization for Post Conflict Environment Management) and Sarvatra tech services whose major thrust is to help ex-servicemen get re-employment and utilize their considerable skills to help mankind in war-ravaged areas. Both organisation carried out Humanitarian Demining in Srilanka for 10 years under the aegis of United Nations.
A philanthropist at heart, Col. Marwaha always believed in helping the needy, weak, and underprivileged sections of society.
In the year 2022 Col. Vinod Marwaha Foundation was established with objective of helping ex servicemen and EWS of society with educational scholarship and also work in the field of environment protection.
He has set up Solar Power Plant of 1.8mm at Lonand to reduce carbon footprints of his factories.
He regularly donates funds to a school that is specially run for the ‘deaf and dumb’ children located in Phaltan.
